ROBIN HOOD: THE GREAT ESCAPE

Please fill out this form and provide us with as much detail as possible. Auditions will be held on June 3 (6pm - 9pm) and June 5 (12pm - 4pm). Should public health allow, auditions will be held in the Bauer Theatre. If not, online details will be sent to you.

Rehearsal Schedule
Tuesday - Sundays, July 13 – August 1

Community volunteers will be scheduled weekends, and around unavoidable conflicts such as work, as much as possible. Guides will be needed less than actors. Extras will be needed only for certain times on the tech weekend, specific scheduled performances, and for costume fittings.

Technical rehearsals
July 31 & August 1, full days, up to 10 hours each day.

Performances
August 3 – 22, 7 p.m. start. (Actor call no later than 6:30)
August 3 (invited dress rehearsal)
August 4 (Pay What You Can Preview)
August 5 (Opening night)
August 12 & 19, matiness @ 2 p.m. (Actor call no later than 1:30)

Specific Roles (there will be doubling)
There are currently roles for approximately 15 volunteer actors. This may be reduced due to COVID Restrictions.

Bugler, needs a loud voice| Adult, any gender
Llewellyn Cobbler | Adult male
Mable Spinster | Adult female
Joe Butcher | Adult male
Bram, Will Scarlett’s Boyfriend & in fight scene | Adult Male, aged 22-35 (preference will be given to a queer actor)
Emegar| Pre-teen or teen, female
Spy with note | Age 12 and up, any gender
Twig | Age 12 and up, any gender
Sheriff’s Bard(s) | Adult(s), musician(s)
Priest | Adult, male identifying
Sheriff’s Guards, most will fight, 4 have lines | 18 or over, any gender

The Merry Men – fighters, physically demanding
Purnelle | Age 18 or over, any gender
Ravenor | Age 18 or over, male identifying or non-binary
Hildegard | Age 18 or over, female identifying or non-binary
Orella | Age 18 or over, female
New Kid | Age 16 – 18, any gender
